Here I Am at UEG

Oriental Exploration and Development Institute, UEG

Zhang Haiyang

Since I joined UEG in 2012, I have witnessed the Company grow rapidly. I also found many "innovative" and "established" features shown in the Company's growth, i.e. "same company creating new growth", “veteran expert becoming the new backbone, “same oil field being rejuvenated” and “proven approaches adopted in new areas”.

In my view “being old” represents the ability to endure the test of time and changes as well as being ready to “enjoy a refresh”; “being new” often means a state of thriving and being vital. Seemingly contradictory, they are the driving force for business development and imply the opportunity for personal development. With the rotation of “old” and “new”, employees achieve personal growth and the business becomes everlasting.
