United Energy Egypt's Impactful Presence at EGYPES 2024 as Dimond sponsor Leading the Charge in Energy Transition and Empowerment

Egypt International Exhibition Center, Cairo - The Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES) 2024 bore witness to an enlightening three-day event from February 19th to 21st, where United Energy Egypt (UEE) proudly stood as the strategic partner with the Egypt Energy Show as a Diamond Sponsor for the seventh consecutive year. During the meeting, as the chairman of the federation and a member of the technical committee, UEE fully supported all work and made positive contributions to promoting energy transformation and sustainable development.

EGYPES is one of the most important energy conference and exhibition in MENA, which provides an ultimate business platform where country pavilions convene to boost bilateral trade, discuss commerce and innovation. As the Global Energy Dialogue Center, this year it was held under the distinguished patronage of His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and H.E. Eng. Tarek El Molla, Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources. In addition, it also invited the Secretary General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Haitham Al Ghais, as well as energy ministers from relevant oil producing countries such as Iraq, to attend.

The theme of this conference is "Driving Energy Transition, Security, and Decarbonisation", over 500 global energy companies including ExxonMobil, SHELL, TotalEnergies, BP, and others participated in the exhibition. The three-day conference not only comprehensively showcased the prosperous scenery of the global energy industry, but also further deepened the corporate image of UEG's innovation and sustainable development!

UEE's booth at the EGYPES 2024 Exhibition served as a hub of interaction, attracting visitors, stakeholders, service providers, and petroleum engineering students eager to learn about the latest advancements in the industry. During the exhibition, United Energy Egypt (UEE) had the honor of hosting President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and H.E. Eng. Minister Tarek El Molla at their booth. Additionally, Eng. Kamel Al Sawi, the President of UEE, and Mr. Song, Executive Chairman, engaged in a direct discussion to showcase UEE's activities and upcoming plans in Egypt. This demonstrates the company's commitment to fostering partnerships and advancing energy initiatives in the region.


As a pioneer in energy transformation, the UEG and the UEE team actively engage in dialogue and seek cooperation, and deeply share views and insights in various sub forums. Among them, UEG Executive Chairman Song Yu, UEE President Kamel Al Sawi, and UEG Vice President and General Legal Advisor Zhang Weihua were invited to participate in the sub forums of "Technology and Innovation – Critical Enablers of Strategic and Climate Change""Decarbonizing Upstream Oil and Gas Operations""Finance & Investment in Energy Conference".


In addition, technical experts from various fields of the company actively participate in discussions at various sub venues and engage in in-depth industry exchanges.

The EGYPES Energy Awards ceremony, particularly the Sustainability in Energy Awards, highlighted UEE's dedication to driving initiatives that propel the industry towards achieving net-zero agendas. In the CSR exhibition area, UEE's social responsibility project Tamkeeny case has received great attention. In a notable endorsement of UEE's CSR efforts, His Excellency Eng. Tarek El Molla, Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, expressed his support for such initiatives during his visit to the EGYPES exhibition.
